Salena Greenlee, owner and operator of Inside Out, gathers with friends, family and Chamber of Commerce members for a ribbon cutting that she said was two years in the making.

 

The boutique located in downtown Brookhaven on Chickasaw Street sells affordable home décor and opened January of 2012. Since then Inside Out has been dreaming of growth with an expansion six months ago and the ongoing renovation of two other places on the same street.

 

“It’s what makes us Brookhaven,” Brookhaven-Lincoln County Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Garrick Combs said. “Stores like this keeps downtown Brookhaven vibrant and unique.

 

Inside Out is open three days a week: Thursday and Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

 

“The three days we’re not open I’m preparing for the three days we will be open,” Salena said laughing.
