A convict walked off a work detail crew in Copiah County Wednesday.
Marcus Moulder, 31, described as a Hispanic male, escaped from a work detail Wednesday.
Copiah County Investigator Jeremy Thornton said Moulder was arrested for cyber stalking, felony evasion and felony domestic violence.
Copiah County Deputy Sheriff Derrick Cubit said Moulder is still at large and the sheriff’s office is investigating all leads.
Brookhaven Police Chief Bobby Bell sent officers out Wednesday to search incoming trains from that area. He said it was reported that the prisoner was wearing orange as of Wednesday.
Cubit said someone called their office Wednesday and said they spotted a man who fit Moulders description near the train area in Copiah County. Cubit said they are not sure if he is on a train, but investigators are following all tips.
