Funeral Services for Bruce Harvey McKinney of Union Church are 9 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 28, 2014, at Union Church Presbyterian Church with burial in Union Church Cemetery. Franklin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Wednesday, Aug. 27, 2014, from 5 until 8 p.m. at Union Church Presbyterian Church and continue on Thursday from 8 a.m. until time of service at the church.

Mr. McKinney, 55, died Monday, Aug. 25, 2014, at his shop in Union Church. He was born on Nov. 20, 1958, in Raceland, Louisiana, to Edward and Martha Greer McKinney.

He was a mechanic and a planner/scheduler and a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was a member of Union Church Baptist Church.

Survivors are his wife of 34 years, Teresa Cupit McKinney; his parents; son, Stephen Bruce McKinney of Union Church; daughter, Rachel McKinney Case and husband, Erik of Tomball, Texas; granddaughter, McKinley Anne Case; brothers, Eddie McKinney, Barney McKinney and Danny McKinney; sister, Teresa Smith; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
