Funeral Services for Edna M. Buitt of Bogue Chitto are 2 p.m. on Friday, May 30, 2014, at Riverwood Family Funeral Services with burial in Riverwood Memorial Park. Riverwood Family Funeral Services is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Thursday, May 29, 2014, from 5 until 9 p.m. at Riverwood Family Funeral Services.

Mrs. Buitt, 70, died May 27, 2014, at King’s Daughters Medical Center. She was born on Oct. 17, 1943 to Monroe Hux and Minnie M. Rippy Hux.

She was a member of Bogue Chitto Assembly of God Church.

Preceding her in death were her husband, David Buitt; parents; daughter, Joanne Buitt; son-in-law, Billy Pyeatt; grandson, Josh Smith; three brothers, Calvin Hux, Claude Hux and James “Poz” Hux; nephew, James Hux; and niece Kim Ritz.

Survivors are her son, James David Buitt; daughters, Sandy Smith and husband, Jerry, and Jeannie Pyeatt; sister, Peggy Ritz and husband, Keith; nine grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
