THE DAILY LEADER / RHONDA DUNAWAY / Amanda Richardson gets packages ready for shipping at the U.S. Post Office on Cherokee Street in downtown Brookhaven Tuesday. To guarantee packages arrive by Christmas Eve they must be shipped by Friday, Dec. 20. Most post offices will be closed at noon Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve, but the West Station at 407 Brookhaven St. will be open until 1 p.m.
