In observance of Veterans Day, the following businesses and government offices will be closed on Monday, Nov. 11:

• Brookhaven-Lincoln County Chamber of Commerce

• U.S. Post Office facilities

• Mississippi Highway Patrol driver’s license examination office

• The city offices in Brookhaven, Meadville and Wesson.

• The county offices in Copiah, Franklin, Lawrence and Lincoln counties.

The following businesses, schools and offices will be open Monday:

• Brookhaven Academy, Brookhaven city schools, Copiah County schools, Franklin County schools, Lawrence County schools, Lincoln County schools, Mississippi School of the Arts and Copiah-Lincoln Community College

• The city offices in Monticello

• The Daily Leader office

• Waste Pro will run its regular routes on Monday.
