Mrs. Bratton, 76, died May 30, 2013 at Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson. She was born in North Dakota on July 8, 1936 to Archie Gosselin and Victoria (Dumas) Gosselin.

She was a retired self-employed business owner. She was a member of Clear Branch Baptist Church. Mrs. Bratton loved traveling in her motor home and riding her trike.

She never missed an opportunity to play cards with family and friends. She was a very hard working, strong willed and unique lady.

Preceding her in death were her husband, Jack Bratton; parents, Archie and Victoria Gosselin; grandson, Kevin Clark; stepdaughter, Dawn Bratton; and brother, Donald Gosselin.

Survivors are her children, Barbara Clark and husband, Curtis, Vickie Blalock and husband, Lewis, Danny Boone and wife, Nancy, Doyle Bratton and wife, Cathie, and Cindy Powell and husband, Glenn; five brothers; three sisters; 13 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services are 3 p.m. on Sunday, June 2, at Riverwood Family Funeral Service, with burial in Riverwood Memorial Park.

Visitation is Sunday from 1 until 3 p.m. at the funeral home.
