Funeral services for Michael Frederick Carey of Brookhaven are 4 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 15, at Brookhaven Funeral Home on Natchez Drive. Burial will follow at a later date.

Visitation is Friday from 2 until 4 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Carey, 59, died Feb. 10, 2013 at his home. He was born in Madison, Wis. on Aug. 20, 1953 to Mr. and Mrs. Robert Carey.

He was a U.S. Navy veteran and worked for the City of Brookhaven street department.

Preceding him in death were his parents; first wife, Patricia Carey; and a daughter, Rebecca Carey.

Survivors are his wife, Nancy Elizabeth Coull Carey; two daughters, Michelle Carey and Amanda Carey, both of New Mexico; cousins, Carole Lovedy and Sonja Albright; sister-in-law, Candace Nolin and husband, Jim, of New Hampshire; and brother-in-law, Robert Coull of Massachusetts.
