Funeral services for Verna “Dean” Johnson Davis are 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 8, in the chapel of Lakeview Funeral Home, 2102 Clay St., Vicksburg, with the Rev. Herman Sylvester officiating and the Rev. Rudy Smith offering words of comfort.

     Visitation will be Friday from 1 until 7 p.m. with family present from 6 until 7 p.m.

     Ms. Davis, 70, died at River Region Medical Center on Dec. 3, 2012, following a brief illness. She was born on April 20, 1942.
