Funeral services for George W. Cody, of Monticello, were 2 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 2, at Wanilla Baptist Church in Monticello, with burial in the church cemetery. Wilson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

     Mr. Cody, 88, died Aug. 30, 2012, at Lawrence County Hospital. He was born on Aug. 22, 1924.
