Funeral services for Helen Faye Lain, of Brookhaven, are 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 10, at New Prospect Baptist Church, with burial in the church cemetery. Brookhaven Funeral Home on Natchez Drive is in charge of arrangements.

     Visitation is Friday from 5 until 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

     Mrs. Lain, 74, died March 6, 2012, at Wesley Medical Center in Hattiesburg. She was born in Bude on Aug. 22, 1937, to Johnnie Dunn and Maybella Thornhill.

     She was a housewife and member of New Prospect Baptist Church.

     Preceding her in death were her parents; and husband, Bill Lain.

     Survivors are her daughters, Becky Coleman and husband, Mark, of Hazlehurst, Melissa Patterson and husband, Billy Patterson Jr., of Hattiesburg, Linda Fairchild, of San Diego, Sandra Todd, of San Diego, and Shelia Lain, of Torrance, Calif.; sisters, Dorothy Ezell, of Colfax, La., and Wilma Delozier, of Bude; half-brother, Pete Dunn, of Purvis; 10 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
