Funeral services for George Kemph, of Brookhaven, are 2 p.m. on Wednesday, March 7, at Brookhaven Funeral Home on North Jackson Street, with burial in Mallalieu United Methodist Church Cemetery.

     Visitation is Tuesday from 5 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

     Mr. Kemph, 77, died March 4, 2012, at Haven Hall Health Care Center. He was born in Wisner, La., on Jan. 25, 1935, to Dewey and Bertha Mae Walker Kemph.

     He was an operator and set-up man for Jacobson Lawn Mower Plant. He was a master mason and member of Lodge 0230, Fair River Lodge. Mr. Kemph was a member of Mallalieu United Methodist Church.

     Preceding him in death were his parents; and wife, Betty Lou Kemph.

     Survivors are his son, Robert Earl Kemph, of Brookhaven; daughter, Nancy Shingler, of Pensacola, Fla.; 13 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
