Memorial services for Jessie Eugene “Gene”Hamrick Sr., of Brookhaven, are 2 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 18, atBrookhaven Funeral Home on Natchez Drive.

    Visitation is Friday from 5 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

    Mr. Hamrick, 72, died Feb. 16, 2012, at King’s Daughters MedicalCenter. He was born in Spartanburg, N.C. on Sept. 4, 1939, to AlzieHamrick and Margaret Ann Hipps Gosnell.

    Preceding him in death were his father, Alzie Hamrick; son, JessieHamrick Jr.; and three stepchildren, Kathy Priest, Grant Brady andKevin Brady.

    Survivors are his wife, Dorothy Britt Hamrick; mother, Margaret AnnHipps Gosnell, of Brookhaven; daughters, Kimberly Hamrick andTiffany Hamrick, both of Poparville; stepchildren, Larry Brady andMike Brady, of Brookhaven, Scott Brady, of Picayune and PatHauptmann, of Chalmette, La.; brothers, Bobby Hamrick, of Hammond,La., and Donald Hamrick, of Poplarville; 12 grandchildren; 16great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
