Funeral services for David Howard Moore, ofRidgeland, were 5 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 14, at St. James EpiscopalChurch in Jackson. Wright and Ferguson Funeral Home in Jackson wasin charge of arrangements.
Mr. Moore, 50, died Nov. 11, 2011, peaceably at his home.
David attended Saint Andrews and Murrah High Schools, MillsapsCollege and the University of California at Berkley and PacificMcGeorge Law School in Sacramento, Calif. In his later years, heowned and operated David Moore Bonding Company. He was a voraciousreader, loved poetry and music, and his humor and kindness will bemissed by all.
Survivors are his parents, William Sebastian and Lou FrissellMoore, of Madison; sister, Lynn Adelaide Tighe Campbell, ofBrookhaven; and brothers, Bowman Stirling Tighe Jr., of Ridgeland,Thomas Bryant Moore, of Wilmington, N.C., and Nathan FrissellMoore, of McDonough, Ga. David loved his nieces and nephews,Margaret Brooke Campbell Bridges, Rebecca Tighe Campbell, TaraHallie Tighe, Bowman Stirling Tighe III, Emily Lynn Moore andMatthew Paul Moore; and he was blessed to have two belovedgreat-nephews, Jackson Tighe Bridges and Grey Thomas Bridges.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Mississippi Museumof Natural Science.
