Funeral services for Kara Leigh Darby, ofWesson, are 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 26, at Stringer FamilyFuneral Services in Hazlehurst, with burial in BethesdaPresbyterian Cemetery.

    Visitation is Tuesday from 5 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

    Miss Darby, 15, died Oct. 23, 2011, due to an automobile accidentin Lincoln County. She was born in Jackson on June 30, 1996.

    She was a sophomore at Wesson Attendance Center, where she was acheerleader and played softball. She was a member of Nena SmithDance Team.

    Preceding her in death was her mother, April RoskowskiTompkins.

    Survivors are her grandfather, Robert Gregory Tompkins Sr., ofWesson; grandmother, Renee Tompkins, of Hazlehurst; grandmother,Lisa Berryman, of Vicksburg; great-grandparents, Harold andMarjorie Hamilton, of Hazlehurst; great-grandparents, Robert andAilene Tompkins, of Utica; brother, Kaden Lee Roskowski, of GreenBay, Wis.; uncle Greg Tompkins Jr., of Wesson; and aunt, MemoryTompkins, of Vicksburg.
