James Lee ‘Parker’ Parker

James Lee “Parker” Parker, 30, ofHattiesburg, died unexpectedly at his home Friday, Oct. 7,2011.
Visitation will be Sunday at Jones Family Funeral Services inMcComb from 5 until 8 p.m. and will continue Monday afternoon atSilver Springs Baptist Church from 1 p.m. until funeral servicesthere at 2 p.m. The Rev. Mike O’Neal will officiate. Burial will inthe church cemetery.
Mr. Parker was born Sept. 23, 1981, in Brookhaven. He was the sonof loving parents, James E. Parker Jr. and Lola M. GibsonParker.
He was recently featured on the front page of TheEnterprise-Journal on Sept. 30 for an Emmy nomination he receivedwhile a student at the University of Southern Mississippi. Hegraduated May 2011 from USM with a Mass Communication andJournalism degree. While at USM, he received numerous awards forfilmmaking.
He was excitedly beginning his new career and had started his ownproduction company, Parker Productions.
Mr. Parker was preceded in death by his grandparents, James andVera Parker; and his grandfather, E.L. Gibson.
He is survived by his parents, James and Lola Parker; his dearlyloved sister, Brandi Parker, all of McComb; his beloved fiancee,Britni Spicuzza; his grandmother, Barbara Thames Gibson; aunts anduncles: his treasured “na na,” Gail Lorraine Gibson, Barry Gibson,Darrell and Socorro Gibson, Robin Gibson, Jerry and Rhonda Adkins,Ross Matlock, William and Kathy Parker, and John and Pat Parker;and numerous cousins, Jessica, Chris, Donovan Jacob, Justin, Shaun,Erikah, Shae, Hollie, J.B. and Josh.
