Funeral services for Jean Lynn Crosby Reeves, of Bogue Chitto,were 11 a.m. on Tuesday, May 17, at Calvary Baptist Church in BogueChitto, with burial in the Calvary B.C. Cemetery. Riverwood FamilyFuneral Service was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Reeves, 67, died May 14, 2011, at her residence. She was bornon February 3, 1944, to Henry Thomas Crosby Sr. and Maude SmithCrosby.

She was a graduate of Bogue Chitto High School, a homemaker and amember of the Order of the Eastern Star Bogue Chitto Chapter 263.She was a very active member of Calvary Baptist Church in BogueChitto.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her brothers, Henry Thomas”Sonny” Crosby, Jr., Lamar Crosby, John Wesley Crosby and JerryCrosby; her sisters, Imogene Falvey and Addie Faye Dixon.

Survivors are her huband, Melvin Reeves; her son, Scott Reeves andwife, Debra; his daughters, Kim Bishop and husband, Jonathan, andTonya Powers and husband, Chris; her brothers, James Glenn “Butch”Crosby and wife, Bobbie; sisters, Edwina Allen and husband, Melvin,and Audra Mae Wright; her grandchildren, Brittani Russell andhusband, Jacob, Curtis Phillips, Emily Powers, Trey Bishop, TaylorBishop, Kourtney Bishop, Tyler Bishop, Mitch Reeves, Jake Reeves,and a great-granddaughter, Brooke-Lynn Russell.
