Funeral services for David “DC” Griffin, of McCall Creek, are 10a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 4, at Brookhaven Funeral Home Chapel onNatchez Drive, with burial in Ramah Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation is Friday from 5 until 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Griffin, 87, died Dec. 2, 2010, at his residence. He was bornin McCall Creek on March 13, 1923, to Charley Walter Griffin andMary Ratcliff Griffin.

He was retired from International Paper Company. He was a member ofGum Grove Baptist Church.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his daughter, DelilahGriffin Case; his first wife of 46 years, Marie Cupit Griffin; andhis grandson, Clay Wallace.

Survivors are his wife of 16 years, Frances Griffin of McCallCreek; his son, Mitchel Griffin and wife Angie, of McCall Creek;his daughter, Amaryillis Wallace of Auburn; and his grandchildren,Sean Wallace, Eric Case and wife Jackie, Dave Griffin and wife LeeAnn, Johnnie Griffin and wife Michelle, Lance Griffin and wifeJessica, Heather Berryhill, and Sara Current and husbandDavid.
