Funeral services for Frank L. Summers, of Brookhaven, are 3 p.m.on Saturday, Sept. 25, at Brookhaven Funeral Home on Natchez Drive,with burial in Union Hall Baptist Church Cemetery in LincolnCounty.

Visitation is Saturday at the funeral home from 2 p.m. until thetime of the service.

Frank, 82, went to be with his Lord on Sept. 21, 2010. He died athis residence. He was born in Brookhaven on Sept. 2, 1928, toFranklin E. Summers and Bobbye Fuller Summers.

He graduated with honors from New Sight High School. He was aveteran of the United States Navy and served his country for twoyears. Following his military service, he graduated with honorsfrom Co-Lin and earned an engineering degree from Louisiana Tech.He worked all over the country building numerous plants. Two of hisjobs were at the Grand Gulf Nuclear Power Plant at Port Gibson, andthe St. Regis Mill at Monticello. He was a member of First UnitedMethodist Church. He was a mason.

Preceding him in death were his parents, and his wife, LouiseSummers.

Survivors are his son, Franklin E. Summers II; his stepsons,MacArthur Fellingburg Webb and Boman Sewell Webb; his grandsons,Mac Draven Summers and Franklin E. Summers III; his stepgrandson,Jack Calvert; his sisters, Mrs. John B. (Margaret Ann) Perkins Jr.and Mrs. Tom (Frances) Brady Jr., of Brookhaven; his aunts, Mrs.Heilda Fuller and Mrs. Louise Miller; his three nephews; threenieces; eight great-nephews and five great-nieces.
