Funeral services for Wilton Henry Buie, of Caseyville, are 11a.m. on Friday, June 11, at Brookhaven Funeral Home Chapel onNatchez Drive, with burial in Union Church Cemetery in UnionChurch. The Rev. Bendon Ginn will officiate.
Visitation is Thursday from 6 until 10 p.m. at the funeralhome.
Mr. Buie, 82, died June 8, 2010, at his residence. He was born inCoffeeville on April 24, 1928, to Duncan Buie and Nannie VickoryBuie.
He was retired after 35 years of service with Chevron Oil Co., andwas a member of Philadelphia Baptist Church. He was a veteran ofthe United States Marine Corps. He was an avid deer hunter andmember of Homochitto Hunting Club.
Preceding him in death were his parents; his wife, Maxine AdamsBuie, who died March 14, 2010; and his brothers, John Duncan Buieand Prentiss L. Buie.
Survivors are his daughters, Sandra Fauver and her husband Albert,and Sheila McFadden and husband Steve, all of Brookhaven; hisgrandchildren: Sonya and Pat Phelps, and Shannon and Karla Fauver,all of Brookhaven, Shelley and Alvin Guidry of Coteau Holmes, La.,Shawn McFadden and Brandy Freeman, of Brookhaven, and Sherrie andRob Welch, of Diamondhead; his great-grandchildren, Lauren andDaniel Parson, Austin and Chloe Phelps, Nathaniel and NicholasFauver, Ethan, Luke and Colin Guidry, Brooklyn McFadden and TalonWelch; his great-great-grandchildren, Tucker and Levi Parson; hisbrother, Elmer Lee Buie and his wife Ruby of Caseyville; hissisters, Maggie Weed, of Clinton, and Frances Grisham, ofSouthhaven; his sister-in-law, Merle Buie, of Caseyville; and hisspecial caretaker and friend, Viola Lloyd.
Pallbearers are Shannon Fauver, Shawn McFadden, Lee Buie, JohnnyBuie, Nathaniel Fauver and Austin Phelps.
