Services for Helen Wallace Laird, of Baytown, Texas, are 10 a.m.Thursday, March 11, at Earthman Funeral Home Chapel on 3919 GarthRoad in Baytown, with burial in Cedar Crest Cemetery.

Visitation is Wednesday from 5 until 8 p.m. at the funeralhome.

Mrs. Laird, 88, died March 6, 2010. She was born in Brookhaven onAug. 8, 1921.

A former resident of Brookhaven, she married Frank Laird in 1940.They moved to Baytown in 1943. She was a member of Missouri StreetChurch of Christ.

Preceding her in death were her husband of 61 years, Frank Laird;her son, Steven, and her daughter, Debra King.

Survivors are her son, Ronald F. Laird, of Houston; MelanieCorrigan and husband Dan, Lorren Simon and great-grandchild, ValonSimon.
