Michael H. O’Neal

A private memorial service for Michael H. O’Neal, of Brookhaven,will be held by his family at a later date. Community FuneralServices is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. O’Neal, 51, died Oct. 2, 2009, at King’s Daughters MedicalCenter in Brookhaven. He was born in Houston, Texas, on Aug. 25,1958, to Willie Lee O’Neal and Lois Burns O’Neal.

He was disabled.

Preceding him in death was his father.

Survivors are his mother; his wife, Vonnie O’Neal, of BogueChitto; a son, Chris O’Neal and his wife, Cressiquer, of BogueChitto; a brother, David O’Neal, of Texas; a grandchild, MichaelChristopher O’Neal; and a nephew, David O’Neal Jr. and family.

Services for Edward “Eddie” Thompson Jr., of Brookhaven, are 3p.m. Friday, Oct. 9, at Community Funeral Services Chapel inBrookhaven with burial in the Nation’s Cemetery.

Mr. Thompson, 79, died Oct. 7, 2009, at his residence. He wasborn in Mississippi on Sept. 29, 1930, to Edward Thompson Sr. andLovie Suzanne Richie.

He retired from Diviney Maintenance.

Preceding him in death were his parents; a son, Randy Thompson;a daughter, Linda Sue Posey; his four brothers; his three sisters;and his three grandchildren.

Survivors are his wife, Buelah Mae Thompson, of Brookhaven; ason, Rickey Thompson; his daughters, Rita Acy, Sharon Knight, NancyThompson and Rose White; a sister, Nettie Posey; his 13grandchildren; and his 12 great-grandchildren.
