Graveside services for Willie Charles May, of Hominy, Okla., are11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 5, at Bethany M.B. Church Cemetery inJayess.

Visitation is Friday from noon until 5 p.m. at the R.E. TylerFuneral Home.

Mr. May, 62, died Aug. 28, 2009, at Oklahoma University MedicalCenter in Oklahoma City, Okla. He was born in Jayess on July 18,1947, to Cordie May and Betty Lee Newson May.

He was a former paper handler at Georgia Pacific inMonticello.

Preceding him in death were his father; and a brother, CordieMay Jr.

Survivors are his mother; a daughter, Prophetiss Kathryn L. Ray,of Atlanta, Ga.; his brothers, Johnny May and Sandy May, both ofJayess; his sisters, Shirley May, of Monticello, and Jo Anne May,of Jayess; and his three grandchildren.
