The Dixie Boys 13 and 14-year-old All Stars begin play thisFriday in the State Baseball Tournament. The tourney, which is heldJuly 17-23, is played under the double-elimination format.

The 13s travel to Laurel and the 14s are at Kosciusko. Furtherinformation on opponents and times were unavailable at presstime.

Selected to the 13s team were Landon Nix, Landon Nelson, BriceRoberts, Andrew Culver, Les Parker, Kaleb Skinner, Trey Chassion,Sam Bivens, Brady Wilson, Zack Smith, Jeremy Burns, Dylan Watts andBlake Burns. The coaches are Dustin Shelton, Jason Wilson and RyanWallace.

The 14s all-stars include Dillon Smith, Logan Smith, Jacob Lea,Jeremy Laird, Seth Porter, Sawyer Evans, Brenden Brister, BraxtonFoster, Houston Case, Josh Smith, Tyler Ham, Alex Smith and DustyParks.

Kevin Smith and Kelly Allred serve as the 14s coaches.
