Memorial services for Karey Dale Whittington, of Bogue Chitto,are 3 p.m. Saturday, April 25, at Jones Family Funeral ServicesChapel in McComb.

Visitation is Saturday from 2 until 3 p.m. at the funeralhome.

Mr. Whittington, 62, died April 21, 2009, at his residence. Hewas born in McComb on March 1, 1947, to J.C. and Lenis WoodallWhittington.

He was a Mason for a long period of time. Mr. Whittington was afishing tool hand, a consultant for many years in the oil businessand most recently a roof installer until his health began to failhim. He was a Bogue Chitto High School graduate and served in theNational Guard. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

Preceding him in death were his father; his grandparents, JamesCarse and Julia Mae Whittington and Ollis and Besse Woodall; andhis two grandchildren, Alex and Andrew Arickson.

Survivors are his mother, Lenis Whittington, of Bogue Chitto; ason, Karey “K.D.” Whittington, of McComb; his daughters, DestinyArickson, of McComb, Leigh Whittington Hobson, of Hattiesburg, andAshley Whittington Peavey, of Hattiesburg; a sister, Carol AnnAlexander, of Bogue Chitto; his 11 grandchildren; and many niecesand nephews.
