Services for Maxine Turner Buchanan, of Monticello, are 2 p.m.Monday, Feb. 9, at Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with burial inMonticello Municipal Cemetery.

Visitation is Monday from noon until 2 p.m. at the funeralhome.

Mrs. Buchanan, 87, died Feb. 7, 2009, at her residence. She wasborn on Sept. 20, 1921, to A.C. Turner and Christine ThomasTurner.

She was retired after 32 years with Kellwood as an inspector.She was of the Baptist faith and attended Bethel Baptist Church inMonticello.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Herman LeeBuchanan; and her brother, Riley Turner.

Survivors are her son, Willard Griffin, of Monticello; threegrandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
