Services for Kimberly D. Smith Hux, of Bogue Chitto, are 3 p.m.Tuesday, Sept. 23, at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Bogue Chittowith burial in the church cemetery.
Visitation is Monday from 5 until 9 p.m. at Riverwood FamilyFuneral Service and Tuesday from 2 until 3 p.m. at the church.
Mrs. Hux, 40, died Sept. 21, 2008, at King’s Daughters MedicalCenter in Brookhaven. She was born on April 9, 1968, to KennethEarl Smith and Dorothy Carlile Smith.
She was a graduate of Bogue Chitto High School and attendedSouthwest Mississippi Community College. She was a homemaker andmother. She was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. Mrs. Huxwas an active Sunday school teacher and mission friends teacher.She was on the youth and children’s council and served aschildren’s church coordinator. She was also involved withEnterprise Attendance Center’s booster club.
Preceding her in death were her father-in-law, C.M. Hux; hergrandparents, Clifton and Jessie Carlile, Lenord and Nannie BelleSmith and Myrtis Hux; and a nephew, Kollin Ross Smith.
Survivors are her parents; her husband, Kyle Hux; her daughters,Katie Loren Hux, Karla Beth Hux, Kelsey Rae Hux and Kylie Erin Hux;her brothers, Ken Smith and wife, Chasity, and Kyrk Smith and wife,Missy; her mother-in-law, Merle Hux; a sister-in-law, Tanya Johnsonand husband, Henry; her nephews and nieces, Kayla and Carl Ray,Matthew Smith, Reese and Carleigh Brocato, Sawyer and ShelbyWallace, Karter Dane Smith, Karl, Klint and Kalli Johnson and LoriWilson; her great nieces, Riley Claire and Katelyn.
Pallbearers are Brad Smith, Chuck Smith, Lance Smith, RonnieSmith, Chris Welch and Jimmy White.
Honorary pallbearers are Cal Ray, Sawyer Wallace, Matthew Smith,Reese Brocato and Colton Welch.
Memorials may be made to the Pleasant Hill Baptist Churchbuilding fund.
