WESSON – Southern Miss signee Josh Tillman of Franklin Countyhas enrolled at Copiah-Lincoln Community College. The All-Statedefensive lineman enrolled Friday and practiced with the Co-Linteam that afternoon.

Tillman (6-5, 255) participated in Sunday’s rain-soaked TeamPicture Day on the Co-Lin campus. The team photo was taken inCo-Lin’s Mullen Gymnasium.

Co-Lin head coach Glenn Davis said he was delighted to haveTillman on his squad. Co-Lin will kick off its season Thursdaynight at East Mississippi Community College in Scooba.

“We are tickled to death to have Josh with us,” said Davis. “Wewill do everything we can to help him with his athletic andacademic career.”

Davis said Co-Lin defensive coordinator Brett Shufelt wasinstrumental in recruiting Tillman. “Coach Shufelt did a great jobkeeping after him.”

According to Davis, “Josh said he wanted to be closer to home.He didn’t give us a reason why he left Southern.”
