Zora Lee Bean Brady

Zora Lee (Bean) Brady, 81, went to be with her Lord on June 14,2008.

Zora was preceded in death by her mother, Mildred WaggonerBethany, stepfather, Tom Frank Bethany Sr., and daughter-in-law,Marie Johnson Brady.

She is survived by her husband, Ralph E. Brady, of Brandon; hersons, Richard Ralph Brady, of Nashville, Tenn., Steven Kyle Bradyand wife, Deborah, of Brookhaven, and Kevin Mark Brady and wife,Yvonne, of Brandon; nine grandchildren; and fivegreat-grandchildren.

She taught Sunday school as a young teenager and continued thatthroughout her life. She was a devoted wife for 64 years to RalphE. Brady, longtime Baptist pastor, missionary, and author. AnAlzheimer’s patient for eight years, she wished to donate her bodyto the University of Mississippi School of Medicine for first yearstudents’ research in lieu of funeral services and visitation.

Annie Mae Wilson Swanigan

Services for Annie Mae Wilson Swanigan, of Chicago, Ill., are 11a.m. Thursday, June 19, at Taylor Funeral Home.

Visitation is Wednesday from 6 until 9 p.m. at the funeralhome.

She attended Alexander School in Lincoln County under ProfessorGulledge. She completed her education in Chicago as a cosmetologistand attended school for modeling, tailoring and hat design.

Preceding her in death were her parents Richard and Ella Wilson;her husband, Leonard Swanigan; her son Tyrone; her brothers,Cammie, Johnny, Leroy and Samuel; and her sisters, Bessie,Henrietta and Lena.

Survivors include her grandson, Bryant Wilson; her brothers,Willie, Williams and Morris; and a host of nieces, nephews,great-nieces, great-nephews, family and friends.
