Jewel Dawn McGuffee Kellogg, of Monticello, died on June 8,2008, at Lawrence County Hospital in Monticello. Riverwood FamilyFuneral Service is in charge of arrangements.

She was born on Sept. 12, 1932, to Walter McGuffee and EloiseOffitt McGuffee.

She was a homemaker. She was a veteran of the United States AirForce and served in the Korean War. She was a member of AntiochBaptist Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents and her brother.

Survivors are her son, Lynwood Kellogg; her daughters, RobinLofton and Mechelle Ladd; her brother, Donnie McGuffee; her fivegrandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
