A memorial service for Karen Warne, of Wichita, Kan., will beheld at 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 7, at Bethany United MethodistChurch. Broadway Mortuary in Wichita is in charge ofarrangements.

Mrs. Warne, 60, died June 3, 2008. She was born on June 17,1947, in Brookhaven, to Jesse and Frances McRee Oberschmidt.

She was a retired bookkeeper.

Preceding her in death were her parents.

Survivors are her husband, Earl Warne, of Wichita; her sister,Glenda Masselink, of Michigan, Fla.; her daughter, Margaret Warne,of Wichita; her stepson, Carl Warne, of Augusta, Kan.; her threegrandchildren; brothers, Joe Warne, of Peck, Kan., Helen Bishop, ofPretty Prairie, Kan., and Wendy Smith, of Las Vegas, Nev.; andseveral nieces, nephews and cousins and friends.
