Ole Brook gets split in tournament

CLINTON — The Brookhaven Lady Panthers rallied past St.Aloysius 4-1 and lost to the Clinton Lady Arrows 1-0 Saturday inthe Clinton Tournament.
Brookhaven (9-3, 2-0) hosts Enterprise and Loyd Star Saturdayfor two games each. The junior varsity game begins at 1 p.m.followed by the varsity at 2:30 with Enterprise. Loyd Star facesBrookhaven at 5 and 6:30 respectively.

Terri Hodges was the winning pitcher, fanning 10 batters andwalking 3. Taylor George absorbed the loss with no strikeouts and 3walks.
At the plate, Hodges singled 3 times for the Lady Panthers.Brianna Ashmore singled. twice. Singling were Hannah Lowman,Sabrina Delaughter and Karlee Martin.
Clinton 1, Brookhaven 0
Powering Clinton on the mound for the win with 14 strikeouts and2 walks was Hannah Reese. Hodges took the loss, fanning 4 battersand walking 1.
Delaughter led Ole Brook with a double and a single. Ashmoresingled twice. Lowman hit safely.
