Services for Eugene Richardson Jr., of Brookhaven, will be heldat 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 8, at St. Mark Missionary BaptistChurch in Brookhaven with burial in Hillcrest Cemetery. WilliamsMortuary is in charge of arrangements.
Visitation is Friday from 1 until 5 p.m. at the funeralhome.
Mr. Richardson, 68, died March 3, 2008, at King’s DaughtersMedical Center. He was born in Lincoln County on July 8, 1939, toEugene Richardson Sr. and Lola Richardson.
He was retired. He was a member of St. Mark M.B. Church.
Preceding him in death were his parents; his daughters, RuthieAnn Jackson and Lillian Richardson; his brother, Paul EdwardRichardson; and his sister, Lula “Cora” McGee.
Survivors are his son, Earnest Richardson, of Immokalee, Fla.;his daughter, Lenell Richardson, of Immokalee; his brothers, BurtRichardson and wife Ethel, of Moss Point, Robert Richardson andwife Glenda, of Chicago, Ill., and Alton Richardson and wife Ethel,of Brookhaven; his sisters, Fannie Charles, Jeraldine Lee andhusband James, Lizzie Hodges and husband Shelton and Mary Williamsand husband Henry, all of Brookhaven, Pauline Richardson, ofChicago, Ill., Gloria Porter and husband Isaiah, of Moss Point,Ethelene Noonon, of Lansing, Mich., Lillie Albert, of Brighton,Mass.; his eight grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and manynieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
