Loyce Bell Hailey

Loyce Bell Hailey slipped from the caring hands of her familyinto the loving arms of God on Sept. 11, 2007. Her services wereheld on Sept. 13, at Pleasant Valley United Methodist Church withinterment in the Sylvarena Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Hailey was born Sept. 11, 1928, in Copiah County to Fredand Mittie King Bell. She graduated from Wesson Public Schools andlater attended Copiah-Lincoln Junior College. She and her husbandworked as a team in Mississippi and Texas in various businessesincluding oil and gas production.

Mrs. Hailey was a member of Pleasant Valley United MethodistChurch. She was also a charter member of the Institute for Learningin Retirement, the Fifty Plus Club and a member of Cherokee RoseChapter Daughters of the American Revolution.

Mrs. Hailey was an inspiration to all who knew her, especiallyher children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her loving husband and soul mate of 61 years,Scott F. Hailey; son, Dale Hailey; daughters, Sharron Baird andhusband Robert, Rita Hailey-Burks and husband Tom; and Jo AnnHailey; sister, Nell Fortenberry; sister-in-law, Elzene Bell;brother-in-law, Howard Hailey; seven grandchildren and five greatgrandchildren.
