Services for Roy Lee Watson, of Brookhaven, are 11 a.m. Friday,Aug. 31, at Brookhaven Funeral Home on North Jackson Street withburial in Kees Cemetery in Brookhaven.
Visitation is Thursday from 10 a.m. until 10 p.m. at the funeralhome.
Mr. Watson, 75, died Aug. 28, 2007, at his residence. He wasborn on Dec. 3, 1931, to Henry Lee Watson and Nannie Estell SmithWatson.
He was retired from the Brookhaven Police Department and hadbeen a law enforcement dispatcher. He was a lifelong member of BigSprings Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon. He was aveteran of the United States Army, serving in the Korean andVietnam wars.
Preceding him in death were his parents.
Survivors are his wife, Frances Watson, of Brookhaven; his sons,Nicholas Lee Watson, of Brookhaven, and Timothy Watson, of Pearl;his daughter, Sharal Ann Bateman, of Lexington, S.C.; his fivegrandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; and his twostepgrandchildren.
