Services for George Black, of Brookhaven, are 11 a.m. Saturday,at Living Word Faith Ministries with burial in Mt. Olive ChurchCemetery. Williams Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Saturday from 10 until 11 a.m. at the church.

Mr. Black, 47, died July 2, 2007, at the University ofMississippi Medical Center in Jackson. He was born on Aug. 8, 1959,to Eulis Black Sr. and Louise Black.

He was disabled.

Preceding him in death were his parents; six sisters, Flora MaeSmith, Dessie Ree Sheppard, Mary Nell Maxwell, Marie Black, EssieLou Black and Helen Black; and a brother, Billy Ray Black.

Survivors are his two brothers, Eulis Black Jr., of Brookhaven,and Warren Ellis Black, of Elkhart, Ind.; his stepbrother, RobertSanders, of Brookhaven; his sister, Juanita Thadison, ofBrookhaven; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Margie W. Brown

Services for Margie W. Brown, of Brookhaven, are 11 a.m.,Saturday, July 7, at Brookhaven Funeral Home on Natchez Drive withburial in Montgomery Baptist Church Cemetery. The Rev. Bob Lynchand the Rev. Keith Smith will officiate.

Visitation is Saturday from 9.30 until 11 a.m. at the funeralhome.

Mrs. Brown, 75, died July 4, 2007, at Haven Hall Nursing Home.She was born on Oct. 18, 1931, to Jack Watts Sr. and Eula B. BolingWatts.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of Arlington BaptistChurch.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Hervie Brown;brother, Jack Watts Jr.; and sisters, Yvonne Cothern and AnniePearl Smith.

Survivors are her sisters; Katherine Binkley, of Brandon;Josephine Richardson, of Hattiesburg; and Josie Lee Ainsworth, ofBrookhaven; and special friends and care givers, Barbara Wallace,of Brookhaven, and Glenda McKean, of Greensburg, La.

Pallbearers are Henry Wallace, Orian Williams, Lyle Brumfield,Johnny E. Broadway, Michael D. Broadway and Curtis Dunaway.

Bill Delaughter

Bill Delaughter, 82, of Natchez, died Tuesday, July 3, 2007, atGlenburney Nursing Home in Natchez.

Funeral services were Friday, July 6, at 10 a.m. at LairdFuneral Home Union Street Chapel with the Rev. Ray Hollandofficiating. Burial followed at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemeteryunder the direction of Laird Funeral Home.

Visitation was Thursday, July 5, from 5 until 8 p.m. at thefuneral home.

Mr. Delaughter was born Jan. 17, 1925, in Brookhaven. He was theson of Ferdinand B. and Eunice Graves Delaughter. He was precededin death by his parents; a brother, Leroy Delaughter; and twosisters, Bessie Rollins and Sara Bardwell.

Survivors include his wife, Margie Delaughter, of Natchez; threesons, Billy D. Delaughter and his wife, Patsy, Johnny Delaughterand his wife, Tina, and Gary Delaughter, all of Natchez; twodaughters, Janis Norris and her husband, Carl, of Natchez, andElaine Green and her husband, Clarence, of Alabama; ninegrandchildren, Mark Norris, Kevin Delaughter, Johnny DelaughterJr., Tinia Grantham, Elizabeth Collier, Christine Delaughter,Jennifer Delaughter, Danyelle Kilgore and Angel Netterville; ninegreat-grandchildren, Patrick Delaughter, Mark Norris Jr., E.J.Grantham, Bridgett and Marilyn Delaughter, Taylor and AshleyGrantham, Tiffany Norris and Grace Marie Murphy; and four sisters,Mary Alice Bardwell, Christine Smith, Erma Nell Beeson and AnnieBelle Carter.

Mrs. Hales, 80, died July 5, 2007, at Silver Cross Nursing Home.She was born on Sept. 17, 1926, to Thomas Earl Fox and Ora CobbFox.

She was a nurse at King’s Daughters Hospital for 42 years andworked at the Wesson Public Library. She was a member of BeauregardMethodist Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, J.W.Hales; and a son-in-law, Larry Joe Lewis.

John Alton King

Mr. King, 85, died July 4, 2007, at Lawrence County NursingHome. He was born on March 13, 1922, to W. Jesse King and Mary CoxKing.

He was a retired justice city court judge. He was a member ofNew Hope Baptist Church were he served as a deacon for 60years.

Preceding him in death were his wife; Lucille Hedgepeth King;his daughter, Billie Faye Hall and her husband, Joe Hall; and twosisters.

Mr. Morris, 66, died June 30, 2007, at Natchez CommunityHospital. He was born in Cannonsburg on Sept. 16, 1940, to CarneyMorris and Dorothy Ware Morris Patterson.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Carney Morris andDorothy Ware Morris Patterson; one daughter, Tammie Y. Christmas;one son, Claude T. Williams; one sister, Flora Kizee; threebrothers, Charles Morris, David Morris and Paul Winfield.

Survivors are his wife, Mary L. Burt Mullins

Services for Burt Mullins, of Monticello, are 11 a.m. Saturday,July 7, at Sauls Valley Baptist Church in Monticello with burial inthe church cemetery. Wilson Funeral Home in Monticello is in chargeof arrangements.

Visitation is Friday beginning at 5 p.m. at the church.

Mr. Mullins, 69, died July 5, 2007, at his residence. He wasborn on Feb. 12, 1938, to Wash Mullins and Ladell Cox Mullins.

He was retired from the oilfield. He had served in the Army. Hewas a member of Sauls Valley Baptist Church.

Preceding him in death were his parents; and a brother, JoelMullins.

Survivors are his sons, Earnie Mullins, of Oxford, AnthonyMullins, of Prentiss, and Dale Mullins, of Tilton; his daughters,Julie Johnston, of Greenbrier, Ark., and Mandy Harvey, of Jayess;his brothers, Ed Mullins and Donnie Mullins, both of Tilton; hissister, Betty Reid, of Ruth, and Phyllis Ratcliff, of Tilton; andeight grandchildren.

Maxine Dunn Pritchard

Maxine Dunn Pritchard, 82, of Pascagoula, died July 2, 2007, inMoss Point. She was born Oct. 10, 1924, in Kentwood, La. She was amember of First United Methodist Church, of Pascagoula. She waspreceded in death by her parents, Oscar and Carrie Dunn; and herhusband, John J. Pritchard.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, John J. (Maureen)Pritchard, of Lafayette, La; two daughters and sons-in-law,Patricia (Jimmie) Williams, of Pascagoula; Dr. Mary (Harold)Bartholomew, of Metairie, La; five grandchildren, ninegreat-grandchildren, numerous other relatives and friends.

Visitation was Thursday, July 5 from 3 until 4:30 p.m. atHolder-Wells Funeral Home in Moss Point. Funeral services followedat 4:30 p.m. at the funeral home chapel with the Rev. M.L.McCormick and the Rev. Earl Greenough officiating.

Graveside services are Friday, July 6, at 1 p.m. at Union ChurchCemetery in Jefferson County.
