Services for Linda Catt Lambert, of Monticello, were 3 p.m.Sunday, July 1, at New Hope Baptist Church in Monticello withburial in the church cemetery. Wilson Funeral Home in Monticello isin charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Lambert, 59, died June 28, 2007, at Mississippi BaptistMedical Center in Jackson. She was born in Columbia on Nov. 24,1947, to James Lonnie Catt and Dorothy Claire Beachan Catt.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of New Hope Baptist Churchand former church treasurer for nine years.

Preceding her in death were her parents and her brother, RayCatt.

Survivors are her husband, Drury Lambert, of Monticello; hersons James Drury “Jimmy” Lambert and wife Stacy, of Jayess, andDavid Brian “Biscuit” Lambert and his wife Theresa, of Arm; herbrothers Hughey Catt and wife Linda, of Jayess, T.D. Catt and wifePeggy, of Mobile, Ala., Paul Catt and Mike Catt, both of Jayess,and Johnny Catt and wife Kim, of Monticello; her sisters Dora DeanDubec, of Richmond, Texas, Alice Lee and husband Bobby, of NewHebron, Mary Case and husband Eddie, of Brookhaven, Amy Wages, ofLeakesville, Ruthie Stewart and her husband Billy, of Brookhaven;and grandchildren Harley Bixler, Lanie Lambert, Tyler Lambert,Jennifer Long, Cheyenne Long, Jason Lambert, Warren Buffington andEmeral Buffington.
