Adolph Causey

Services for Adolph Causey, of Centreville, were 2 p.m. Sunday,Oct. 1, at Thirkield United Methodist Church with burial inMeadville Cemetery. Marshall Funeral Home is in charge ofarrangements.

Mr. Causey, 85, died Sept. 26, 2006, at Wilkinson County NursingFacility. He was born in Bude on Feb. 6, 1921, to Florence SmithCausey and John Causey.

He was a member of the Masons.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his son; his sister;and his brother.

Survivors are his daughters, Audrey Adams and Cathy Smith; hisson, Leon Causey; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Elaine Callendar Harris Smith

Services for Elaine Callendar Smith, of Brookhaven, were 4 p.m.Saturday, Sept. 30, at Brookhaven Funeral Home Chapel with burialin Easthaven Cemetery.

Mrs. Smith, 77, died Sept. 29, 2006, at Kings Daughter’s MedicalCenter. She was born in Brookhaven on May 4, 1929, to WilliamThomas Callendar and Dollie Newton Callendar.

She was a lab technician with Kings Daughter’s Medical Centerand Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center. She was a memberof Holly Springs Baptist Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents.

Survivors are her husband, Elton Smith, of Brookhaven; her son,William Leroy Harris, of Brookhaven; her sisters, Patsy Wilhite, ofBirmingham, Ala., and Dorothy Smith, of Wisconsin; twograndchildren; three step-grandchildren; and onestep-great-grandchild.
