Services for Betty McDaniels, of Brookhaven, are 2 p.m.Saturday, March 18, at Siloam M.B. Church with burial in the churchcemetery. Tyler Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Friday from 12 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home, withthe family present from 6 to 7 p.m.

Mrs. McDaniels, 59, died March 12, 2006, at King’s DaughtersMedical Center. She was born on July 8, 1946, to Richard Kelly andBeatrice Oliver Kelly.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of Siloam M.B. Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, WillieHorace McDaniels; her son, Willie Horace McDaniels Jr.; her threebrothers and one sister.

Survivors are her sons, Matthew McDaniels, of Nashville, Tenn.,Steve McDaniels, of Slidell, La., and Charlie McDaniels, ofBrookhaven; her daughters, Eunice Newsome and Annie Bee, both ofSlidell; her brothers, Robert Lee Kelly, Roosevelt Kelly, Eddie D.Kelly, Clarence Kelly and Jerry Kelly, all of Brookhaven; LeviKelly, of New Orleans, La., Napoleon Kelly and Willie Kelly, bothof Slidell; her sisters, Margaret Brooks, Carolyn Kelly, Louada K.Smith and Jessie Mae Byrd, all of Brookhaven, and Eunice Brown, ofSummit; her 14 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
