Ole Brook kickers sweep LCHS

The Ole Brook soccer teams swept Lawrence County Tuesday nightin a Division 6-4A showdown. The Lady Panthers clipped the LawrenceCounty Lady Cougars 3-2 in an overtime shootout while the Panthersrolled 4-1.

The Lady Panthers got two regulation goals fromTerri Hodges and took a 2-1 lead at halftime. Rebecca Harbour andEmily Smith scored for LCHS.

In the shootout, after a scoreless overtime, Laura Waldrop,Hannah Lowman, and Ashley Holtslander scored for Ole Brook. AshleyJones scored for LCHS.

Ole Brook goalie Sabrina Delaughter made 2 saves during theshootout.

The Lady Panthers are 10-10 overall and 5-4 in the division.

In the boys game, Caleb Weeks scored for LCHS.The Panthers responded with goals by Patrick Ayers and ChaseCovington to lead 2-1 at halftime..
