Services for Thomas Aaron “Dude” Scott, of McCall Creek, are 10a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 14 at Pleasant Valley Baptist Church inFranklin County with burial in the church cemetery.
Visitation is today from 5 to 9 p.m. at Franklin Funeral Home inMeadville, and Wednesday from 9 to 10 a.m. at the church.
Mr. Scott, 73, died Dec. 12, 2005, at Franklin Memorial Hospitalin Meadville. He was born in Franklin County on March 2, 1932, toT.J. Scott and Lois Murray Scott.
He was a retired steam engineer with Fidelity Tire Co. He was amember of Pleasant Valley Baptist Church. He was a sergeant in theArmy during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the BudeMasonic Lodge. His hobbies were hunting, fishing, small enginerepairs and spending time with his grandkids.
Preceding him in death were his parents; three brothers; twosisters; and one grandson.
Survivors are his wife, Artie Loy Scott, of McCall Creek; hissons, Lamar Scott and his wife, Rhonda, of Brookhaven, and ChadScott, of McCall Creek; his daughter, Dana Holland and her husband,Greg, of McCall Creek; his brother, Sherrod Scott, of Meadville;his sisters, Frances Flowers, of Meadville, Leslie “Winnie” Scott,of Meadville, and Rachel Buckels, of Colorado; his sixgrandchildren, Jayme Jones, Erin Scott, Clint Allen Scott, JerriLynn Scott, Brandy Scott and Heavannah Holland.
