Ernest Lloyd Mixon, of McComb, died July 20, 2005, at SouthwestMississippi Regional Medical Center in McComb.
He was born in Columbia on July 20, 1920, to Ernest T. and EvaMixon.
He was an electrician and retired. He served in the Army and inWorld War II.
Preceding him in death were his parents; five sisters, HazelBrumfield, Pearl Townsend, Leslie Weir, Bea Williamson and LoisDurio.
Survivors are his four sons, Earl Mixon and his wife, Kathy, ofOregan, Garland Mixon and his wife, Sue, of Sandy Hook, Bobby Mixonand his wife, Stephanie, of Richland, and Jackie Mixon, ofLouisiana; five daughters, Carolyn Waldrop and her husband, Dick,of Texas, Shearlean Phelps and her husband, Gary, of Texas, JudyMoss and her husband, Robert, of California, Kay Grubbs and herhusband, Michael, of Tylertown, and Janet Boykin and her husband,Roy, of Terry; a sister, Nell Martin, of Fernwood; a specialfriend, June Williams; and numerous grandchildren,great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
