Nelson Causey

Services for Nelson Causey, of Meadville, were 10 a.m. today,July 14 at Middle Creek Primitive Baptist Church with burial in thechurch cemetery. Franklin Funeral Home in Meadville was in chargeof arrangements.
Mr. Causey, 74, died July 12, 2005, at Southwest MississippiRegional Medical Center. He was born in Franklin County on Feb. 25,1931, to Preston Causey and Rosa Rushing Causey.
He retired from International Paper Company in Natchez afterworking for 43 years. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War andwas a member of the American Legion. Mr. Causey was a member ofMiddleton Creek Primitive Baptist Church where he served as adeacon.
Preceding him in death were his parents; his brothers, Russelland Lonnie; his sister, Dixie Knapp; and his half brothers andsisters.
Survivors are his wife, Carolyn Seyfarth Causey; his five sons,Dr. Jim Causey, of Ripley, Tenn., John Allen Causey, of Canton,Shelby Causey, Preston Ellis Causey and Matthew Grant Causey, allof Meadville; four grandchildren; and a host of nieces andnephews.
