Florence Opal Jordan
Services for Florence Opal Jordan of Covington County NursingCenter in Collins are 11 a.m., Tuesday, June 28, at HopewellBaptist Church in Crystal Springs with burial in Hopewell Cemetery.Community Funeral Services is in charge of arrangements.
Visitation is Tuesday from 9-11 a.m., at the church.
Mrs. Jordan, 93, died June 23, 2005, at Wesley Medical Center inHattiesburg. She was born on Feb. 8, 1912, to James Allen Tullosand Sudie Elizabeth Jolly.
She was a homemaker. She was a member of Hopewell Baptist Churchin Crystal Springs. She was a high school graduate.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Walter W.Jordan; her daughters, Caroline Pepper and Elizabeth Cartwright; agreat-grandson; and a great-great-grandchild.
Survivors are her son, Kenneth W. Jordan of Maryland; sevengrandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Services for Beulah Mae McClelland Burns Moncrief of Brookhavenare 11 a.m., Tuesday, June 28, at Riverwood Family Funeral ServiceChapel with burial in Mt. Morriah Baptist Church Cemetery.
Visitation is Monday from 5-8 p.m., at the funeral home.
Mrs. Moncrief, 97, died June 25, 2005, at Beverly Health Care.She was born on Dec. 22, 1907, to Marion Scott Callender Sr. andAnnie Smith Callender.
She was a member of Mt. Moriah Baptist Church.
Preceding her in death were her first husband, William T. “Bill”McLelland; her second husband, Ernest Burns; her third husband,George Moncrief; a son, Harold W. McClelland; three brothers,Robert Callender, Leroy Callender and Versie Callender; a sister,Lillian Callender Summerfield; and a grandson, William T.Smith.
Survivors are her daughter and son-in-law, Marie McClelland andT.J. Smith of Brookhaven; her daughter-in-law, Barbara WilliamsMcClelland of Bogue Chitto; her brother, Marion Scott Callender Jr.of Houston, Texas; her sisters, Rosa Hart Thomas of Baton Rouge,La., Edna McGee of Brookhaven and Ellen Frascino of Houston, Texas;her sisters-in-law, Colleen Callender of Baton Rouge, La., AlyeenCallender of Hixon, Tenn., and Nell Callender of Aransas Pass,Texas; her granddaughters, Ronda Schillaci of Baton Rouge, La., andTerri McDavid of Brookhaven; her grandson, Howard J. Smith ofBrookhaven; two great-granddaughters; two great-grandsons; and onegreat-great-grandson.
