Services for Dee Hewitt Brown of Bogue Chitto are 2:30 p.m.Sunday, Aug. 15 at Hartman Funeral Home Chapel with burial inMontgomery Baptist Church Cemetery. Services will be conducted bythe Rev. John Thomas.

Visitation is Sunday from 10:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. at thefuneral home.

Mr. Thomas, 79, died Aug. 13, 2004, at Southwest RegionalMedical Center in McComb. He was born in Lincoln County on March 4,1925, to Johnnie and Eunie Brown.

He was retired from Mid City Paint and Supply. He was a memberand deacon of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. He was a deacon ofMontgomery Baptist Church. He was an Army veteran of World WarII.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his wife, Mazie M.Brown; two brothers, Van Hailey Brown and Jerry Brown; and asister, Cristine B. Foret.

Survivors are his daughter, Connie B. Leggett of Bogue Chitto;his sister, Billie Moak of Summit; his brothers, Thomas Brown ofByram and Johnnie M. Brown of Kenner, La.; his grandchildren, KevinLeggett, Amy Britt and Michelle Leggett; and hisgreat-grandchildren, Tanner Britt, Kacey Leggett and CodiLeggett.

Pallbearers will be Ronnie Brown, Steve Brown, Mickey Foret,Johnnie Brown, Mike Brown, Walter Brown and Bobby Moak.
