Graveside services for Ulysses “Sonny” Williams of Detroit,Mich., formerly of Union Church, are 11 a.m., Saturday, Aug. 14, atMt. Carmel Cemetery.

Visitation is Friday from noon until 5 p.m. at WilliamsMortuary.

He was a graduate of the Mississippi School for the Deaf.

Mr. Williams, 63, died Aug. 6, 2004, in Detroit. He was born inLincoln County on Dec. 27, 1940, to L.J. Williams and Queen EstherBanks of Detroit.

Preceding him in death were his father; and a sister, Jo MarieJones.

Survivors are his sisters, Carol Dianne Banks of Detroit, SherryBrewer of Orlando, Fla., and Cathy Williams of Detroit; hisbrothers, James Williams of Brookhaven, Dewitt Williams of UnionChurch, Bobby Williams of Little Rock, Ark., Joseph Banks Jr., ofDetroit, and Robert Williams of Brookhaven.
