Isaac Clinton ‘Ike’ Arnold
Services for Isaac Clinton “Ike” Arnold of New Orleans, La., are10 a.m., Tuesday, May 18, at Calvin Young Funeral Home in NewOrleans, La., with burial in Biloxi National Cemetery inBiloxi.
Mr. Arnold, 76, died May 11, 2004, in New Orleans, La. He wasborn in Brookhaven on June 26, 1927, to Ike Gearing and AliceArnold.
He attended Alexander High School. He was a veteran of the U.S.Army, where he was awarded the National Defense Medal, three BronzeStars, the Good Conduct Medal, the Carbine Badge for expertise insharpshooting, the Korean Service Medal and the Vietnam ServiceMedal.
Preceding him in death were his parents; his wife, CorrineArnold; a son, Michael Arnold; and his brothers, Sylvester Robinsonand Tom Gearing.
Survivors are his daughters, Theresa Williams, Rosie Arnold,Gail Jackson, and Sylvia Arnold, all of New Orleans, La.; his son,Steven Arnold of New Orleans, La.; four stepchildren; and hissisters, Roxie Smith of Brookhaven, Aline McCarthy of Lansing,Mich., and Tessie Brown of Natchez.
Larry Keith Baker
Services for Larry Keith Baker of Brookhaven are 2 p.m., Sunday,May 16, at Brookhaven Funeral Home Chapel with burial in MontgomeryBaptist Church Cemetery.
Visitation is Sunday from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m., at the funeralhome.
Mr. Baker, 46, died May 13, 2004, at his residence. He was bornin Brookhaven on May 22, 1957, to Ed Baker and Marjorie BrumfieldBaker of Brookhaven.
He was a former salesman with Mississippi Rubber and SpecialityCompany. He was a member of Easthaven Baptist Church.
Preceding him in death were his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. S.F.Brumfield, and Mr. and Mrs. E.O. Baker.
Survivors are his parents; his brother and sister-in-law, Butchand Louise Baker of Brookhaven; his niece, Erin Baker; a specialcompanion, Katie; and a host of aunts, uncles, and otherrelatives.
Pallbearers will be Randy Jones, Larry Morton, Nat Langston,Keith Peck, Mac Baker, Jeff Brown, David Goss, Tony Laird, JackMcKenzie, Eric Moyer, and Keith Baker.
