Graveside services for Jack Nash Cripps of Tyler, Texas are 2p.m., Monday, May 10, in New Salem Baptist Church Cemetery inMcCall Creek. Lloyd James Funeral Home in Tyler is in charge ofarrangements.

Mr. Cripps, 86, died May 6, 2004, in Tyler. He was born inHelene, Ark., on Aug. 18, 1917.

He was retired from the Army, where he served as a WarrantOfficer. He retired from East Texas Chest Hospital in 1975 after 15years of service, and served as a volunteer for U.T. Hospital sincethe 1980s.

Preceding him in death were his wife, Pauline Cripps; and abrother, William A. Cripps.

Survivors are his nieces, Shirley Braun of Palestine, Texas,Sandra Smith of Brookhaven and Betty Morgan of McComb; his nephews,William A. Cripps III of Tyler, Texas, Jack Nash Cripps of Houston,Texas, Kenneth Golmon of McCall Creek, Thomas Golmon, and HoraceGolmon, both of Brookhaven.
