Services for Cordell Temple of Meadville were 2 p.m., Sunday,May 2, at Franklin Funeral Home Chapel with burial in MidwayCemetery.

Mrs. Temple, 82, died April 30, 2004, at Meadville ConvalescentHome. She was born in Amite County on Sept. 11, 1921, to BarnettJones Sr. and Rena Mae Nelson Jones.

She was a homemaker and a member of Bude First BaptistChurch.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, HermanTemple; her son, Scooter Temple; and three brothers.

Survivors are her daughters, Betty Jean Hammack of Meadville,Shirley “Cissi” Arnold of Bunkley, and Linda Temple and Kathy Bass,both of Bude; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
