WESSON — The Loyd Star golf team posted a 333-386 match winover North Pike Thursday at the Wolf Hollow Golf Club. The matchwas 18 holes with a par 72.

Leading Loyd Star with a 71 was match medalist Blake Windham.Chris Hester followed with an 84.,

North Pike was led by Jesse Smith with an 83.

Loyd Star (4-2) returns to the Brookhaven County Club Monday tohost West Lincoln.

Last Monday at Duncan Park, host Natchez Cathedral beat LoydStar and Natchez in a triangle match. Cathedral finished 159, LoydStar 170 and Natchez 190.

Windham was the match medalist with a 35 score.
